Privacy policy

Bus Switch is published by Louis Foster ("we", "us"). For questions about this policy or information you have shared with us, contact bus-switch@khwajaconsulting.com, our designated support and privacy contact.
No game account is required. Your progress and gameplay log stay on your device unless you choose to share a report. Google provides advertising and advertising privacy choices. Optional rewarded ads can provide hints, additional bus Undos or one extra bay for the current attempt.
Progress and information on your device
The game stores your level progress, unfinished puzzle, bus Undo history, attempt allowances, extra-bay unlocks, settings, play time, stars, personal bests and passport achievements locally. It also keeps a rotating local diagnostic log of events such as level starts, moves, blocks, hints and completions, with temporary session and attempt references and timestamps.
Bus Switch does not automatically upload these records to a developer server and has no player account or developer-operated cloud save. Local data remains until you remove the app and its data. Device backups are controlled by your device and backup provider.
The optional beta-report screen shows aggregate counts and excludes raw session references and event timestamps. Nothing is shared until you choose Copy or Email; an email still requires confirmation in your email app.
Advertising and your choices
Bus Switch uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. Interstitial advertisements may appear at eligible completed-level transitions. Rewarded advertisements are optional: after the free allowance, they can provide a hint or bus Undo, or unlock one additional bay for that level attempt. Restart remains free when advertising is unavailable.
The game requests non-personalized ads and does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. Non-personalized advertising can still involve data collection, frequency measurement and consent requirements; it does not mean that no information is processed.
Google's SDK may process your IP address and approximate location inferred from it, app or device identifiers subject to platform restrictions, crash and performance information, ads viewed and interactions with the app or ads. Google uses information for advertising, measurement, service performance and related purposes described in its Mobile Ads data disclosure and Privacy Policy.
Where required, a Google privacy message provides choices before eligible ad requests. You can revisit the available choices through Settings → Privacy choices, including from Pause → Settings & accessibility. The entry is shown when Google requires it. Your region and choices affect the ads that can be served. Declining or withdrawing consent does not prevent ordinary puzzle play or free restarts.
Support and voluntary reports
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any details or attachments you choose to include. Support correspondence is handled through the contact address above and the email services used by you and us. We use it to answer requests, investigate bugs and ad reports, and review voluntary playtest feedback.
We keep correspondence while a request is active and afterwards only where needed to resolve related problems, maintain necessary records or meet applicable obligations. We consider the issue's status, the information's ongoing usefulness and applicable retention requirements. You can ask us about or request deletion of information you have sent.
Why information is processed
Where UK or European data-protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to requested support and maintaining a reliable game for support correspondence. Where processing requires consent, including applicable advertising storage and identification, the advertising privacy flow requests it. We may also retain information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
Google's own processing, retention and international-transfer arrangements are described in its policies and the advertising privacy message. Email and hosting providers may process information outside your country. Contact us for information about the providers and applicable safeguards used for a particular support request.
Your rights
Depending on your location and the relevant processing, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or receive a portable copy of your personal information. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it. These rights have conditions and exceptions.
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact our privacy address to make a request. For advertising choices, use Settings → Privacy choices where available; information held independently by Google may also require Google's privacy controls.
You can complain to your local data-protection authority. In the UK, contact the Information Commissioner's Office. You are not required to send a beta report or contact support to play. We do not use your support information to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Audience and updates
Bus Switch is designed for a general teen and adult puzzle audience and is not directed to young children. We may update this policy when the game or its services change; the date above identifies the current version.
